1. Plan your visit

Schedule an appointment to submit your plans. Email us at dbi.cpbrequest@sfgov.org and attach all of your forms and applications.

Supporting information

What to expect at the Permit Center

Permit applicants will get a building permit application number and be taken to a pre-plan check station.

A plan reviewer will make sure the plans are complete and applications include all required documents.

Your plans will stay with us. We will let you know if you need to respond to plan checker comments. You must submit revised paper plans only to the assigned plan checker by appointment.
